Bellingen Memorial Hall - Grand Reopening
In May 2022, the local community was invited to a six-night series of events designed to mark completion of the long-awaited refurbishment of Bellingen Memorial Hall.
Monday 29th May – Theatre – Minefields & Miniskirts, presented in association with Dorrigo Dramatic Club + Gumbaynggirr Welcome to Country & Budaabang Bari dancers.
Tuesday 30th May – Film – The Velvet Queen, presented in association with Screenwave International Film Festival + Gunganbu Band.
Wednesday 31st May – Comedy – Mel Buttle + Lizzy Hoo, with MC Ben Stevenson and guests, presented in association with Coffs Comedy.
Thursday 1st June – Classical Music – Andrea Lam, presented in association with Musica Viva, with Valla Voices and Coffs Coast String Quartet + Rivers Dance Centre.
Friday 2nd June – Film – The Giants, presented in association with Screenwave International Film Festival + Jumbaal Dreamin’.
Saturday 3rd June – Contemporary Music – Presented by Events Delivered: First Beige, Funkatu, Pablo Blitzer Trio + Amanda Fairbanks Street Theatre
